You can choose to link your Walldy account to your account on another service, and that service may send us information related to your account on that service.

How do we use the information ?

Due to the way the systems that enable us to provide our services operate, it is not easy to categorize the different ways we use the information we collect. As a result, the same information may be used in various ways for different purposes to ultimately deliver a single service. We believe it is more helpful to describe the five main ways in which we use this information. If you have any unanswered questions, feel free to contact us. Let's get started:

Operate, improve, and personalize our services.

We use the information we collect to provide and operate THEWALLDY LIMITED's products and services. We also use this information to improve and personalize our products and services to give you a better experience on Walldy, including showing you more relevant content and ads, suggesting people and topics to follow/be friend with, and helping you discover affiliates as well as third-party apps and services. We may use the information we collect and publicly available information to train our machine learning or artificial intelligence models for the purposes described in this policy (QuickWall's will never be used in order to train our machine learning or artificial intelligence models).

We may use information collected from accounts linked to other services you choose to connect with your Walldy account to provide features like cross-posting or authentication and to operate our services.

We may use your contact details to help third parties find your account if your settings allow it, including through third-party services and client applications.

We use your information to provide our advertising and sponsored content services, subject to your settings, which allows us to show you more relevant ads on Walldy. We also use this information to measure the effectiveness of ads and to recognize your devices to display ads both on Walldy and elsewhere. Some of our advertising partners also allow us to collect similar information directly on their website or in their app through the integration of our advertising technology. Information shared by advertising partners and affiliates, or data collected by Walldy from the websites and apps of our advertising partners and affiliates, may be combined with other information you share with Walldy and that Walldy receives, generates, or deduces about you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Promoting safety and security.

We use the information we collect to ensure the safety and security of our users, our products, and our services, as well as your account. This effort includes verifying your identity, authenticating your account, and protecting against fraud, unauthorized use, and illegal activity. We also use this data to assess and improve the security and quality of content on Walldy. This encompasses conducting investigations and enforcing our policies, terms, and applicable laws.

Measure, analyze, and improve our services.

We use the information we collect to measure and analyze the effectiveness of our products and services and to better understand how you use them, with the goal of improving them.

Communicate with you about our services.

We use the information we collect to communicate with you about our products and services, including updates to our products and changes to our policies and terms. If you are open to it, we may also send you marketing messages from time to time.

Conduct research.

We use the information you provide or that we collect to conduct studies, surveys, product testing, and troubleshooting, which helps us operate and improve our products and services.

Sharing of information

You should be aware of how your information is shared, the reasons for sharing it, and the ways you can control that sharing. There are five general methods of sharing your information.

1. When you post and share.

With the general public. We share this information as widely as possible. Content on Walldy, including information related to your profile (name/username, display name, and profile images, among others), is available and can be accessed by the general public. The public does not need to log in to access certain content on Walldy. They may also find content from Walldy elsewhere, such as in search engine results, for example.

With other users of Walldy. Depending on your settings and the products and services of Walldy that you use, we share:

  • Your interactions with other users' content on Walldy, such as likes and the people you follow.

  • The content you send to a specific Walldy user, including through Private Messages (QuickWall). Keep in mind that if you share information like Private Messages or protected posts with someone accessing Walldy through a third-party service, that information may be shared with them.

With partners. We may also provide certain third parties with information that helps us offer or operate our products and services.

2. With third parties and third-party integrations.

With service providers. We may share your information with our service providers who perform functions and provide services on our behalf, including payment processors, providers hosting our various blogs and wikis, vendors that help us understand how our services are used, applicant tracking system providers for sending and receiving candidate and job data to potential employers, as well as fraud detection service providers.

With advertisers. Advertising revenue allows us to provide our products and services. Advertisers may obtain information about your reactions to their ads on Walldy and elsewhere. For example, if you click on an external link or an ad placed on our services, the advertiser or the operator of the relevant website may conclude that you came from Walldy and deduce other information associated with the ad you clicked on, such as the characteristics of the audience it was intended to reach and other identifiers generated by Walldy for that ad. They may also collect additional personal information about you, such as cookie identifiers or your IP address.

Third-party content and integrations. We share or disclose your information with your consent or at your direction, such as when you allow a third-party web client or application to access your account, or when you instruct us to share your feedback with a company. Additionally, to enhance your experience, we work with third-party partners to display their video content on Walldy or enable cross-platform sharing. When you view content from our video and cross-platform partners, or interact with them in other ways, these partners may receive and process your personal information as described in their own privacy policies.

Through our APIs. We use technologies such as APIs and embedded elements to make public information from Walldy available to websites, applications, and others for their own use, such as displaying posts on news sites or analyzing conversations on Walldy (Only Walldy can decide who can access to this ours APIs and Services). We typically provide this content for free in limited quantities, and we charge licensing fees for large-scale access. We have standard terms governing the use of this information, as well as a compliance program to ensure proper implementation. However, these individuals and companies are not affiliated with Walldy, and their offerings may not account for updates you make on Walldy.

3. When required by law, to prevent harm, or in the pursuit of the public interest.

We may preserve, use, share, or disclose your information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to:

  • comply with a law or regulation, a legal process, or a request from a public authority;

  • protect the safety of individuals, the security or integrity of our platform, including to prevent spam, inappropriate behavior, or malicious acts on our services;

  • explain why we have removed content or accounts from our services (for violating our Rules, for example);

  • respond to issues of fraud or security or address technical questions; or

  • protect our rights or property, or the rights and property of our users.

4. With our affiliates.

We may share information with our affiliates in order to provide our products and services.

5. As a result of a change of ownership.

We may share, sell, or transfer information about you in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, asset sale, or bankruptcy (Only if the Founder of THEWALLDY LIMITED and its services & prodcuts agree). This Privacy Policy will apply to your personal information shared with the new entity (before and after any transaction is completed) or transferred to it.

How long do we retain information ?

We retain various types of data for different durations:

  • We retain information related to your profile as well as your content as long as your account exists.

  • In general, we retain other personally identifiable data we collect when you use our products and services for a maximum period of 18 months.

  • Remember that public content may remain elsewhere even after you have deleted it from Walldy. For example, search engines and other third parties may retain copies of your posts for longer periods based on their own privacy policies, even if you have deleted them or they have expired on Walldy.

  • When you violate our Rules and your account is suspended, we may retain indefinitely the identifiers you used to create the account (such as your email address or phone number) to prevent the creation of new accounts by repeat offenders.

  • We may retain certain information longer than our policies allow in order to comply with legal requirements and for safety and security reasons.
